We are now accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year.

Please contact our Admissions Office for information on current availability within our Early Childhood and Roots & Shoots program, Grades 1-5, and Middle School classes (Grades 6-8).

Our goal through the admissions process is to get to know you and your child and to share our philosophy and program with you. We invite you to visit Bright Water Waldorf School through our Facebook and Instagram pages, and meet us in person at one of our school tours.

Step 1

Submit an Inquiry.

Step 2

Create a Ravenna-Hub account, select Bright Water Waldorf School, and complete your application.

Delegate your child’s current teacher/class instructor to fill out a teacher evaluation. Make sure to allow plenty of time for teachers to complete this step. *Excludes Roots & Shoots program.

Submit a Request For Records to your child’s current school (for applicant to Grades 1-8). Connect with Admissions Office about any questions at this point in the process. *Excludes Roots & Shoots program.

When your application is complete, the Admissions Office will contact you to arrange the next steps in the process.

  • For Early Childhood applicants, an in-person or virtual 30-minute parent/applicant interview will be scheduled upon completion of your application. Roots & Shoots do not have an interview process.

  • For Grades 1-8  applicants, an in-person or virtual  45-minute parent/applicant interview and student assessment will be scheduled.

  • Following this teacher meeting, a school visit will be arranged.

  • Begin application process with a School Tour, Open House, or send an inquiry email to our Admissions Office.

  • Early Childhood & Grade School Application Deadline: January 16, 2025

  • Financial Aid Deadline: February 6, 2025 (for new and current families) 

  • Acceptance Letters Issued:  March 21, 2025

  • Family Response Deadline: March 28, 2025
